NO NO NO NO! Way to completely rob us of the Gospel! We are not perfect, are you kidding me? What happened to ‘guilty, vile and helpless me. Spotless lamb of God was He. Full atonement can it be?! Hallelujah! What a savior!’ It should say: You are a wretched sinner but praise God that He sent His son Christ Jesus into the world that we may be saved by grace through faith! Hallelujah! Though we do not deserve salvation through Christ, His grace and mercy, His divine love abolished our sin through the cross.
If we were perfect WE WOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED CHRIST.

This is so humbling.
Often times I’m stunned by my pride or how sure I can be of an opinion…but I never think that maybe His ways are above mine. Maybe His thoughts are above mine.
Maybe I’m not as much of an expert as I think I am.
How can God reveal His ways to someone who is prideful?
Humble me, Jesus. Humble me because I want to know Your truth.
I’m like a piece of clay trying to explain to other pieces of clay what the Potter is like. Think about that for a second. It shows the silliness for any of us to think we’re ‘“expert” on Him.
